Whilst my strength is growing weary,
Whilst my physique is wrinkling slowly,
Whilst my strides keep tumbling steadily,
Whilst the allure of this world dims daily,
Oh my heart, look beyond your own story.
With every day that unfolds slowly,
And the charms that darken shortly,
Where is my purpose in this story?
When God crafted the world skillfully,
He had you in his plans eternally.
Oh, my heart weak and weary,
Would you know you’ve faded away quickly?
Would you lay your burden on Him completely?
His hand does envelop you surely,
Would you surrender to Him wholly?
